Dollhouse Art

My Grandmother was a painter.  While many artists enjoy seeing their work on the walls of houses—that is houses for people— Grandmother took pleasure in knowing that her work would be hung in grand houses for dolls.  Yes, her work appeared in  many of the finest dollhouses across the land.
For years I carried two of her dollhouse paintings in a dark brown bracelet box with a gold hinge. Currently, we have the pieces displayed on our fireplace mantle.  There is a striking contrast between the tiny paintings and New World —one of my large mixed media pieces.
Below are photos of the paintings.  Enjoy—Karl
