This past Saturday I spent the day with the Arts Iowa City crew.  We primed and painted a new gallery space. This space will be ready Friday, June 4th for the gallery walk—-June 4th is also the the first day of Arts Fest.  The gallery is located in the lower level of the Wells Fargo Building.  I plan to have at least one piece hanging.  Please stop in and view the art.

 Jeff Lindaman recently started Lindy Scoops Pet Waste Removal Service.  A couple of weeks ago he stopped by to test out his new equipment on GoGo’s poos.  He had some traditional looking tools and some not so traditional—-a vacuum! As he systematically walked around our yard, with GoGo closely following, he shared the details of his service which includes: weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or a tailored pick up schedule. What surprised us most was how much time goes into  the disinfecting of tools and shoes between visits to stop the spread of disease. More info about the service can be found here.

The Path has been selected for a National Exhibition in the Twin Citites area. 
The Path, Charoal on Panel, ©2007 Karl SternbergThe show titled Arts in Harmony is organized by the Arts Alliance of Elk River, MN. 

The Path, a charocoal drawing on wood panel, will exhibit from February 8 until March 25, 2010. 

The artist reception will be held on Sunday February 14 from 1:00 to 3:30 pm.

Award winners of the Arts in Harmony exhibit will show at a downtown Minneapolis location during the month of April.
